We had the pleasure to photograph Melissa and Brandon’s wedding ceremony and reception at Ko Olina this March. Melissa and Brandon planned this stunning destination wedding from their home in Guam, bringing family and friends to Hawaii to celebrate for a special get together. Our beautiful and handsome couple got ready at the historic Moana Surfrider Hotel on Waikiki beach to then drive to the west Oahu’s Ko Olina lagoon. I absolutely love the blush, gold and cream color theme from this wedding and you gotta love Brandon for rocking the gold tuxedo and bow tie combo. This was our first time photographing at Ko Olina Chapel’s “Place of Joy.” The chapel is located on Ko Olina’s first lagoon and made for a lovely backdrop for the couple’s wedding ceremony and sunset portrait session. The night continued with an intimate dinner at Roy’s Ko Olina. I absolutely love how Melissa and Brandon transformed the upstair ballroom into a vibrant, chic, and modern reception space. Roy’s is one of my favorite restaurants on Oahu so you know the food was “ono!” Mahalo to Roys Ko Olina Weddings for the killer food and to this absolutely gorgeous couple for a day of fun and celebration!
